With roots tracing back to 1740, the foundation evolved from the efforts of Guo Xi Liu, who advocated for agricultural advancements through irrigation. In 1992, the foundation was officially recognized to support sustainable urban beautification efforts in line with Taipei’s rapid development. The foundation offers a variety of programs focused on environmental education, including green space design and management, ecological tours, and hands-on gardening workshops. They organize events such as the annual Shilin Residence Chrysanthemum Exhibition and promote agricultural tourism initiatives. By developing innovative green technologies like green roofs and walls, and conducting ecological research, the foundation fosters a healthier urban ecosystem. Through comprehensive community engagement and partnerships with local government, the Hsi Liu Environmental Greening Foundation plays a vital role in enhancing Taipei's natural landscapes while encouraging public awareness and involvement in environmental stewardship. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/hsiliu.org.tw) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/hsiliu.org.tw) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idlAGVcmLr/w/500/h/111/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1721510761363) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idlAGVcmLr/w/311/h/311/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1721510761534) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Fun Green | #009119 | accent | | Olive | #557d00 | dark | | Conifer | #acd35c | light | ## Fonts - Noto Serif TC — asset _(google)_ - 微軟正黑體 — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
