## Description

Humane World for Animals is a unified organization that represents a bold commitment to improving the lives of animals around the globe. Born from the merger of the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International, the organization has a rich history dating back to 1954, during which it has championed landmark legislation, rescued countless animals, and provided care and protection to millions more.

Their mission encompasses a broad range of initiatives focused on tackling animal cruelty and suffering at its roots. Humane World for Animals works passionately in areas such as animal rescue, fighting against animal fighting and puppy mills, ensuring farmed animal welfare, and banning cruel practices like trophy hunting and the dog and cat meat trade.

In addition to their advocacy and rescue efforts, they operate sanctuaries that offer safe havens for rescued animals. The organization also engages the community through volunteering, donations, and an online store selling animal-loving merchandise, all aimed at supporting their lifesaving work and fostering a more humane world for animals.
