## Description

Hufbeschlag Mangold GmbH is a farriery and hoof-care business based in Gelterkinden, in the Oberbaselbiet region of Switzerland. Since completing its first independent assignment in January 2007, the team has served horses throughout Northwestern Switzerland and nearby parts of Germany, using a mobile forge to provide care on site. The company emphasizes calm, considerate handling of horses, reliability, and skilled, clean workmanship.

Its services include shoeing for sport and leisure horses, orthopaedic shoeing, and barefoot hoof care. The team also undertakes forging and smaller metalworking jobs in its home workshop. Farriery options include new and replacement shoes, trimming, specialist shoes, and hoof pads and inserts; the company’s published tariffs cover these services and related items.

The team includes co-owner and farrier Michael Mangold, a farrier since 2002 and qualified since 2021; barefoot trimmer Daniel Bitzi, who has been with the business since 2012; and co-owner Helen Mangold, who manages administration. Hufbeschlag Mangold provides practical, horse-focused care backed by experienced specialists.
