## Description

Hug-Many is a community New Year’s Eve celebration held on The Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. Founded and organised by local businessman Ian Andrew, the event brings people together for an evening of live entertainment, food, drink and dancing in a family-friendly setting. Its programme has featured live music from the funk band Oomphf, DJs, a piper, a countdown clock and fireworks, with heated marquees providing shelter for attendees. The celebration runs into the evening and welcomes families, including children under 12, for whom event badges have been offered without charge. Hug-Many also raises money for local charities, with named beneficiaries including Pickering Cancer Drop-in Centre, Trinity Theatre and Nourish Community Foodbank. Adult admission has been offered through paid badges, and organisers have encouraged additional donations for children. The event’s stated aim is to combine a lively seasonal gathering with support for the local community, directing its profits to charitable causes. Participants can contact the organisers to learn how to get involved and follow social media for updates.
