## Description

Huis Marseille, Museum for Photography, is Amsterdam’s first museum dedicated to photography. Located in two historic canal houses, it offers visitors a setting in which to explore modern and contemporary art photography. The museum presents a changing programme of exhibitions, including work by photographers such as Adolphe de Meyer, Andrzej Steinbach and Maya Inès Touam, alongside exhibitions drawn from its archive. Its collection features photographers and photographic works, with information available about the collection and the artists represented.

Visitors can plan a visit through the museum’s practical information and ticket services, or take part in events and guided tours. Huis Marseille also offers educational activities, supporting engagement with photography for different audiences. Beyond the exhibitions, the museum has a library, a photobook store and a webshop. Its website provides an event calendar, collection access, visitor details and a newsletter for updates. Through exhibitions, collection resources and public programming, Huis Marseille brings photography into conversation with visitors in a distinctive historic Amsterdam setting.
