## Description

Humana Medicina (HUM MED) is a Euro-Mediterranean network dedicated to bringing medicine closer to its humanistic and holistic roots. It brings together hospitals, universities, health-protection organisations and independent members who share a commitment to making healthcare more humane. The network promotes initiatives that support the humanisation of health services and develops training for health professionals. It also encourages active public participation in efforts to improve physical and psychological wellbeing and quality of life.

Humana Medicina’s work explores the contribution of the arts, philosophy and spirituality to medical practice. Its activities include educational programmes, training pathways, seminars, conferences and other events. The organisation also shares articles, editorials, publications, recommended reading, reflections and videos on subjects related to care, health and humanistic medicine. Through these resources and gatherings, it connects practitioners, researchers and the wider public around a broader understanding of health and healing. Based in Turin, Humana Medicina invites people to participate in its network, attend events and support its work through membership and donations.
