Our mission at the Humane Society of New York is to provide compassionate care, shelter, and adoption services for homeless and abandoned animals. One of the ways you can contribute to our cause is by sponsoring a rescue pet. With a donation of $250, you can ensure that a dog or cat receives vital veterinary care, including examinations, neutering, vaccines, and necessary tests before being adopted. As a donor, you will receive a photo and bio of the pet you sponsor, allowing you to make a personal connection with the animal you have helped.

In addition to donations, we also have a Wish List of items that we always need for the daily operations of our clinic, office, and adoption center. Your support in providing these items is greatly appreciated. Since our establishment in 1904, we have been dedicated to improving the lives of animals, starting with working horses. Today, we continue to serve both dogs and cats, earning the Seal of Excellence for our commitment to their welfare.
