## Description

Humanitas Stiftung is a foundation in Horgen, Switzerland, that supports people with disabilities in pursuing greater independence, participation, and quality of life. Its approach centres on listening, understanding individual needs, encouragement, and shared community. The foundation offers several ways to live, including housing with assistance, accompaniment, or coaching, as well as supported workplaces tailored to people’s abilities and needs.

Through its work and production services, Humanitas clients take part in practical activities such as packaging, assembly, woodworking, design, and making greeting and Christmas cards. The foundation presents these services as professional, high-quality work and provides opportunities for clients to contribute their skills. Humanitas also shares information and stories about its projects, events, and efforts to remove barriers and create opportunities. It invites individuals to explore employment opportunities, learn about its services, and support its work through donations. Across its housing, work, and community activities, Humanitas aims to create a place where people can express who they are, develop meaningful routines, and feel included.
