## Description

Humanity Rises is a registered 501(c)(3) humanitarian aid organization supporting refugees, with a current focus on Rohingya people displaced by genocide and persecution in Myanmar. Founded in 2017, the organization first worked with refugee communities in Greece, installing outdoor gym parks to support physical activity and emotional resilience. It later directed its efforts to Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, home to nearly 1.2 million Rohingya refugees.

Since opening in 2018, the Humanity Rises Medical Clinic has provided free healthcare, diagnostic testing, and medication to hundreds of thousands of patients. Open six days a week, it offers services including blood tests, ECGs, ultrasounds, vaccinations, reproductive health counseling, and nutritional support. Its onsite pharmacy supplies prescribed medicines at no charge.

The organization also operates the Rehma Child Life Center, opened in 2019. This program combines formal education with pediatric mental health care, bringing teachers and full-time psychologists together in the classroom. Children also receive daily meals, supporting their wellbeing as they learn and recover from trauma.
