Hunger Center is a brand that has been dedicated to developing, inspiring, and connecting new leaders in the movement to end hunger in the United States and around the world since 1993. With the aim of eradicating hunger by 2030, Hunger Center measures its impact through various initiatives. By the numbers, Hunger Center has trained over 1,000 new leaders in the fight against hunger, including 534 Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellows, 135 Mickey Leland International Hunger Fellows, 62 Zero Hunger Interns, and 92 participants who have completed the Zero Hunger Summer Seminars.

Additionally, 501 participants have completed the End Hunger in 30 Challenge or their self-paced domestic hunger course. Participating in Hunger Center's leadership development programs is a transformational experience, as confirmed by a 2017 survey of Emerson and Leland Hunger Fellow alums. According to the survey, 94% of alums noted that their program impacted their personal development, 91% said it impacted their ability to lead with others, and 89% said it impacted their ability to create change.

Furthermore, 96% of alums would recommend their program to others. An impressive 75% of program alums go on to work for the social good, both locally and nationally, effectively advocating and leading efforts to end hunger. Hunger Center's impact extends beyond its participants.

Over the years, it has expanded the capacity of 358 partner organizations working to end hunger and poverty in the United States and abroad. These organizations span 47 U. S.
