## Description

The Highly Vulnerable Children Research Center (HVC-RC) is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of children exposed to significant risk, including orphans, AIDS-affected youth, street children, and those impacted by armed conflict. Founded by Dr. Tonya Renee Thurman and supported by USAID Southern Africa, HVC-RC focuses on evidence-based practices to inform effective programming and policy decisions for vulnerable populations. 

The center specializes in monitoring and evaluation, providing technical assistance, and building capacity among governments and communities to ensure quality care for highly vulnerable children.
