## Description

The Hudson Valley Regional Emergency Medical Services Council (HVREMSCO) coordinates the emergency medical services system across Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Sullivan, Rockland, and Ulster counties in New York. The regional system responds to more than 300,000 calls each year. HVREMSCO supports EMS providers and agencies through credentialing information, training resources, publications, protocols, forms, and quality-improvement materials. Its website offers a training calendar and Vital Signs Academy, along with guidance on collaborative protocols, policies and procedures, and New York State Department of Health resources. The council also provides information about REMSCO and REMAC meetings, agency forms, electronic patient care reporting, and resources for people interested in becoming EMTs. Supported initiatives include Public Access Defibrillation and BLS-in-Narcan resources, while additional materials cover stroke information, S-LAMS training, and the SGA program. Based in New Windsor, HVREMSCO serves as a regional resource for EMS coordination, provider support, and information about emergency medical services across the Hudson Valley.
