## Description

Hybrid Achterhoek is an event brand bringing hybrid fitness racing to the Achterhoek region of the Netherlands. Promoted as the region’s largest gym race, it combines running and functional workout stations in a demanding test of strength, endurance and determination. Participants complete eight 1,000-metre runs, with a workout station after each run, and finish the race by completing all eight sequences.

Racers can enter solo, as a duo or as a mixed duo. The event features several race formats, including Regular, Sprint Race and Kids, making it possible to choose a challenge suited to different participants. Stations include the SkiErg, dumbbell shoulder presses, heavy ball squats, burpee broad jumps, RowErg, farmers carries, walking lunges and BikeErg. Some exercises and weights vary by category.

Hybrid Achterhoek provides event information, practical guidance for visitors and heat schedules, and sells tickets, including early-booking offers. It also invites people to join the event crew as volunteers and welcomes inquiries from prospective partners.
