## Description

Hawaii Youth Surfing Development Organization (HYSDO) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Haleiwa, Oahu, dedicated to creating greater opportunities for Hawaii’s youth in and out of the water. The organization uses surfing as a platform to support youth development, strengthen communities, build career pathways, and help develop future athletes.

HYSDO’s programs include junior development, which helps young surfers build skills suited to their aspirations, and mentorship opportunities that give students meaningful, hands-on experience.
