## Description

Hyvinkään Slalomseura Sukkula, known as HySS, is an alpine skiing club founded in 1981 and based at Sveitsi Ski Centre in Hyvinkää, Finland. The club provides alpine skiing and racing training, helping children and young people develop their skiing skills in a supportive team environment. Its Suksitaiturit group offers a next step for children who have learned the basics, including through Werneri ski school. HySS also has a Masters group for adults interested in ski racing, making its activities accessible to a range of ages and experience levels.

Alongside regular coaching, the club supports competition and community participation. It hosts and takes part in ski races, including events at its home course, and invites volunteers to help with race-day duties such as course maintenance and gate judging. HySS shares training and event information, competition news, and updates about its athletes’ results. The club describes itself as a lively, established community where young skiers can build a strong foundation in the sport, enjoy time on the slopes, and pursue competitive opportunities.
