The Iowa Association of Area Agencies on Aging (i4a) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting its members and providing valuable information to the public about the aging network, services available to older adults, individuals with disabilities, and family caregivers. With the goal of advocating for the aging network and the people it serves, i4a offers a range of services and resources. To assist the AAAs, i4a provides virtual support for meetings, work group activities, and training opportunities, as well as lobbying assistance for policy issues.

Continuing education and professional development opportunities are also available for AAA staff through webinars, virtual conferences, and skill-building training. i4a is committed to promoting public awareness through social media platforms and national/local awareness campaigns, such as Older Americans Month. They provide information and media that promote optimal aging, living well with disabilities, and support for family caregivers.
