IAAPI, the Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries, represents and advocates for all styles of amusement park facilities in India. With a focus on location-based entertainment, IAAPI encompasses a wide range of venues including adventure parks, theme parks, family entertainment centers, arcades, museums, water parks, aquariums, science centers, zoos, and resorts. As an apex body in the industry, IAAPI plays a crucial role in the development and growth of amusement parks in India. Founded in 1999, this non-government, not-for-profit organization has 461 members consisting of park operators and equipment manufacturers, including small and medium-sized enterprises. IAAPI is recognized and affiliated with various international trade bodies, lending further credibility to its cause. The association works towards creating a conducive environment for the amusement sector's development by collaborating with industry stakeholders, government entities, and civil society through advisory and consultative processes. In addition to its business-focused initiatives, IAAPI also promotes tourism, employment generation, safety, and national integration. The association organizes safety seminars, training programs, and trade shows to ensure the highest standards are upheld in the amusement industry.
