## Description

The International Jewish Cemetery Project (IAJGS) is dedicated to cataloging every Jewish burial site across the globe, serving as a vital resource for genealogists and researchers alike. With the mission to document all known Jewish cemeteries, IAJGS provides comprehensive listings organized by town, city, country, and geographic region. The project offers vital information on the location of burial sites and guidance on how to obtain further details, often linking to additional resources such as burial lists and contact information.

Volunteers from around the world contribute their efforts to this mission, and IAJGS actively invites the public to assist in identifying and submitting information on unlisted cemeteries. For more in-depth inquiries about specific burials, IAJGS recommends using the Jewish Online Worldwide Burial Registry (JOWBR). The commitment of IAJGS to preserving Jewish heritage through diligent documentation makes it an invaluable platform for anyone searching for ancestral connections and historical context within Jewish communities worldwide.
