As the first African-led global movement dedicated to advancing education in science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, entrepreneurship, and design (STEAMED), iamtheCODE is addressing the shortage of these vital skills in marginalized communities worldwide. Through their technology and digital literacy training programs, they are empowering young minds and creating opportunities for women and girls in over 79 countries. The brand offers a wide range of programs and activities to support their mission. These include hackathons, which bring together experienced hackers to decode the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, as well as digital clubs, where the next generation of digital leaders can learn about STEAMED subjects. Additionally, iamtheCODE offers mentorship programs that connect participants with global mentors for encouragement and support. All their initiatives are guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring a comprehensive and impactful approach.
