## Description

Iann Fox is an author whose work explores religion, history, behavior, metaphysical questions, and the forces behind social conflict. He holds a PhD in Religion and is a Master Mason, reaching the 32nd degree of the Scottish Rite. His research into hatred toward the free world and the prejudices that followed the September 11 attacks inspired A Vela Vermelha, published in Portuguese in 2021 as the first book in the Collapse of Dogmas series.

The novel’s English edition, titled The Lost Candle, is in preparation. Its suspenseful story follows Professor Alex Ortiz after the murder of his adoptive parents leads him to a centuries-old coded Masonic message. With his spouse kidnapped and time running out, Alex must navigate secret societies and solve a complex puzzle connected to an artifact that could force an impossible choice.

Fox describes himself as eclectic and interested in the arts, and has received awards for his own work. He is also a staunch advocate for social causes and presents himself as a Masonic novelist.
