The International Association of Physics Students (IAPS) is a global association that brings together physics students and student societies, fostering peaceful collaborations among them. With over 90,000 students represented by 32 National Committees and 14 Local Committees, IAPS has built an excellent worldwide community. Since its establishment in 1987, IAPS has been dedicated to supporting friendly relations and collaboration between physics students.

The organization provides support to its members in their academic and professional endeavors, while also taking a proactive approach to addressing scientific, social, and cultural issues. As a non-profit NGO run entirely by students from around the world, IAPS organizes various initiatives. These include the annual International Conference for Physics Students (ICPS), the Physics League Across Numerous Countries for Kick-ass Students (PLANCKS), visits to global research institutions, summer schools, exchange programs, outreach activities, and multinational meetings.

Collaborations with prominent international bodies, such as the European Physical Society and the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics, further enhance the influence and reach of IAPS.
