## Description

The International Association for Research in Income and Wealth (IARIW) is dedicated to advancing education and knowledge in the vital fields of income and wealth measurement. Based in Ottawa, Canada, IARIW organizes international conferences, publishes scholarly papers, and maintains the Review of Income and Wealth journal, which explores critical economic and statistical research.

IARIW's major objectives include refining the definitions and measurements of national income and wealth, analyzing income distribution and poverty, and enhancing economic and social accounting systems. The association actively engages in international comparisons of these metrics and addresses related economic matters.

With a commitment to fostering global collaboration among researchers, IARIW hosts numerous conferences, including the notable 38th IARIW General Conference scheduled for August 2024 in London. Through its membership offerings, IARIW invites institutional and individual participants to join a community dedicated to impactful research in income and wealth, ultimately striving for better economic outcomes.
