## Description

IASEF (Initiatives et Actions pour la Sauvegarde de l’Environnement et des Forêts) is a nonprofit association dedicated to protecting and enhancing the forest of L’Isle-Adam and promoting the natural environment. Based in L’Isle-Adam, France, it brings together community members around conservation, education, and local environmental initiatives.

The association offers public activities and information focused on biodiversity, forests, wetlands and aquatic habitats, plants, wildlife, fungi, and environmental nuisances. Its program includes guided mushroom outings and educational events, as well as campaigns such as the hedgehog initiative and amphibian migration monitoring. IASEF also supports wildlife observation and research, including surveys of local house martin populations conducted with the French League for the Protection of Birds.

Through outings, talks, public events, reports, and regular publications, IASEF helps residents learn about local ecosystems and take part in their protection. The association shares activity updates and educational resources online, welcomes new members, and invites supporters to contribute through donations. Its work connects environmental awareness with practical, community-led action across the region.
