Founded by Beatriz Ibarra in memory of her father, Delcuidor, the foundation draws on her experience in engineering, including a B.S. in Applied Engineering Sciences from Michigan State University. Its mission is to share opportunities and knowledge with students, particularly those from the South Texas community, under the spirit of “Puro 956.” A central program is the Delcuidor Ibarra Scholarship, which supports graduating seniors at Rio Hondo High School who plan to pursue a STEM-related college major.
