## Description

Ibaraki's Iba Veggie Style initiative is dedicated to promoting a healthier lifestyle by encouraging the consumption of potassium-rich vegetables to help prevent hypertension. The program advocates for a daily intake of 350 grams of vegetables, significantly higher than the current average of 260 grams among Ibaraki residents. This initiative is crucial, given the region's high rates of health issues related to high blood pressure, which are exacerbated by excessive salt consumption.

The Iba Veggie Style not only emphasizes the importance of vegetable intake but also provides resources such as healthy recipes available on platforms like YouTube and Cookpad, and designates specific restaurants that offer meals rich in vegetables. These designated Iba Veggie Style locations utilize a grading system to help consumers easily identify menu options that contribute to their daily vegetable goals.

Through community engagement and educational campaigns, Ibaraki's initiative aims to foster a culture of health awareness and promote proactive steps towards managing hypertension.
