## Description

The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) is dedicated to promoting the field of lactation consulting through rigorous certification and professional standards. Since late 2022, IBLCE has enhanced its structure by establishing the IBCLC Commission, which governs key certification activities and maintains the quality of the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) program. This body oversees initial certification requirements, recertification, examination processes, and ethical standards, ensuring that both aspirants and practitioners uphold the integrity of the profession.

IBLCE offers a pathway for professionals to achieve IBCLC certification, providing resources like examination preparation guidelines, certification fees, and important dates. They also support ongoing professional development through recertification processes. With a strong focus on enhancing efficiency and adaptability, IBLCE champions the lactation consulting community globally, ensuring that passionate individuals can gain recognition and provide critical support in maternal and infant health.
