## Description

IBOA 3x3, operated by the International Basketball Officials Academy, Inc., is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit that uses official FIBA 3x3 basketball to support youth development and strengthen communities. Its programs create opportunities for young people to learn, compete, and grow, building basketball skills alongside confidence, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. Through clinics, camps, and tournaments, IBOA brings basketball instruction to youth, including through Philadelphia recreation centers and community partnerships. The organization also supports basketball referees through IBOA Officials, which offers education, practical training, and mentorship. By introducing both young players and officials to the international FIBA 3x3 format, IBOA aims to create pathways for participation and development beyond the local court. Its activities include the annual IBOA 3x3 NACLA Cup, and the organization welcomes volunteers, partners, sponsors, and donors. IBOA describes its mission as providing a safe place to grow and a lasting team, with a focus on empowering youth, elevating the game, and uniting communities through sport. It is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit based in Philadelphia.
