## Description

International Bird Rescue (IBR) is a renowned non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of aquatic birds, operating year-round care centers in Southern and Northern California, as well as a dedicated wildlife response center in Anchorage, Alaska. Since its inception in 1971, IBR has played a crucial role in responding to oil spills across more than 12 countries, having managed over 220 incidents and rehabilitated more than 150,000 birds. Their highly skilled team includes wildlife rehabilitators, biologists, and veterinarians who provide emergency response, critical care, and rehabilitation services for injured and contaminated seabirds. In addition to their rescue efforts, International Bird Rescue actively engages in conservation and education initiatives, including a new program aimed at connecting students with nature. They also offer opportunities for the public to support their work through volunteer programs, donations, and wildlife adoptions, making a significant impact on biodiversity and animal welfare. Through their innovative programs and ongoing commitment, IBR inspires stewardship for the natural world and strives to ensure a safer future for avian wildlife.
