## Description

Intentional Collaborative Community Connection (IC3) is a nonprofit organization focused on developing safe, affordable, and inclusive housing communities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Founded in 2023, IC3 is working toward a neighborhood where residents can live as independently as possible, build friendships, and take part in everyday community life. Its vision brings together housing, social connection, practical life skills, and opportunities to live, work, and socialize alongside others.

IC3 is currently defining community needs and shaping a model designed to promote inclusion, belonging, purpose, and long-term stability. The planned housing approach emphasizes shared, accessible living and amenities, while supporting residents’ individual choices about service providers, roommates, and schedules. Rather than a congregate care facility, the envisioned community would encourage participation in local activities and foster natural relationships, independence, and reduced isolation. IC3 invites families, professionals, community members, and supporters to share ideas and help shape the project. The organization also provides progress updates and information about events through its website and email communications.
