The Industrial Crops Association (ICA) is a membership body that promotes regulated industrial hemp and medical cannabis as viable cash crops in Malawi. Our mission is to advocate for a legitimate and positive framework for these crops, working closely with the government to implement responsible and modern legislative reform. From health food and cosmetics to textiles and building materials, these crops have numerous applications. Furthermore, the cultivation of medical cannabis presents an exciting revenue opportunity for the government, which can be channeled into essential services and infrastructure development.
