## Description

I Came By Boat is a compelling campaign dedicated to celebrating the invaluable contributions of refugees to Australian society. The initiative seeks to foster understanding and empathy towards asylum seekers, emphasizing their courage and humanity. Focused on raising awareness, the campaign aims to illustrate the diverse social, economic, and cultural impact that refugees bring to Australia. To achieve this, I Came By Boat plans a nationwide rollout of thought-provoking posters in up to 400 strategic locations, supported by a strong social media presence.

The campaign is led by a passionate collective of creatives from the advertising industry, coordinated by Blanka Dudas, a former refugee and successful makeup artist. Through their efforts, they have already captured the inspiring stories and portraits of individuals from various backgrounds, showcasing their remarkable journeys. To fund the campaign, I Came By Boat is actively seeking donations, grants, and corporate support, emphasizing that all contributions are tax-deductible. This initiative is not just about raising money; it is about amplifying voices and fostering a culture of acceptance and opportunity for all asylum seekers in Australia.
