International Children Assistance Network (ICAN) is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 by three Vietnamese refugees. ICAN's mission is to raise the next generation of caring, strong leaders through education and awareness within the Asian-American community. With a focus on prevention and early intervention, ICAN aims to raise awareness and provide education on issues that are often considered controversial or taboo.

ICAN offers programs and initiatives to engage families and help children succeed in society. They provide parents with the confidence and skills to advocate for their children and ensure their success. ICAN specifically works with the Vietnamese American community, supporting young children, pre-teens, and adolescents who may face challenges growing up in a trans-cultural environment.

ICAN's unique approach combines parenting skills with an understanding of child developmental psychology and the best qualities of traditional Vietnamese culture. They strive to promote compassion, commitment, excellence, diversity, and innovation in their work, building a healthy community for future generations. ICAN's impact has been recognized, as they were selected as Nonprofit of the Year for their dedication to strengthening the Vietnamese American community and developing caring leaders
