## Description

The International Centre for Applied Research and Sustainable Technology (ICARST) is a non-profit research organization based in Bratislava, Slovakia. Established in 2011, it promotes research and development and supports national and international cooperation in applied research and sustainable technology. ICARST helps organizations prepare for and participate in research and development projects, as well as educational and knowledge-dissemination initiatives funded by the European Commission and other international organizations.

The centre builds on the research and international collaboration experience of its founding members, who have more than 30 years of professional experience in chemistry, biotechnology, and material science. It has also developed a network of associated research laboratories in Slovakia, across Europe, and worldwide. Through this network, ICARST aims to provide high-quality, interdisciplinary research solutions in chemistry, material science, and life sciences. Its activities connect research expertise with collaborative projects and the sharing of knowledge, helping partners pursue applied research opportunities across national borders.
