## Description

ICAV, or Istituti Case Anziani Vedeggio, brings together elderly care facilities serving the Vedeggio area. Its institutions include Casa anziani Alto Vedeggio (CAAV) in Mezzovico and Casa anziani Medio Vedeggio, Casa Stella Maris, in Bedano. ICAV provides a range of services designed to support residents’ wellbeing, individual needs and quality of life in a welcoming, stimulating environment.

Residents can also access a multisensory room, activation activities and animation programmes. The organisation’s qualified team provides support across needs that include palliative care, therapeutic activities and psychological support, with an emphasis on wellbeing and safety.

ICAV shares information about its facilities, services and activities through its news and events agenda. Recent updates have featured an animation programme at Casa Stella Maris and the introduction of a multisensory room there. The website also provides information about admissions, partnerships, the organisation’s history and values, and opportunities to work with ICAV.
