## Description

Ice Cream Breakfast is the independent games and game development website of Nathan McKenzie, a developer whose previous work includes Soldier of Fortune, Quake 4, Heretic 2, and other titles. The site brings together his creative projects, technical experiments, and educational material, offering visitors several ways to explore game design and development. Its content includes finished Flash games, Flash game prototypes, image-based 3D demonstrations, and audience participation games for Twitch.tv. McKenzie also shares code, lectures, presentations, and writing, including material on game design prototyping at Carnegie Mellon University. His stated interests include radically inexpensive game development, procedural content generation, image-based rendering, image-based 3D in Flash, and educational game designs aimed at hardcore gamers. Rather than presenting a single commercial product line, Ice Cream Breakfast serves as a portfolio and resource for independent games and experiments, alongside insights into the ideas and methods behind making games. The site connects playable work with technical exploration and discussion of game development.
