## Description

The Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation (iCET) is an independent, Beijing-registered nonprofit think tank focused on clean transportation, energy transition, and climate change. For more than a decade, it has conducted research intended to support practical, innovative responses to energy and climate challenges. Its work connects technology, policy, government, businesses, and the public, with an emphasis on independent and useful findings.

iCET’s programs address zero-emission transportation, sustainable aviation and shipping, international platforms and partnerships, and clean, low-carbon transport. Research topics include electric vehicles and commercial vehicles, vehicle fuel consumption and emissions, low-carbon fuel standards, and China’s new-energy vehicle and corporate average fuel consumption credit policies. The center also examines sustainable aviation fuel, including development pathways, market support, certification, and opportunities to scale its use in China.

Alongside its research reports, iCET organizes forums, workshops, and international dialogues, and shares project updates and annual reports. Through its studies and collaborative initiatives, the organization aims to help advance low-carbon transitions and build a more sustainable energy ecosystem.
