## Description

Icethetics is an independent hockey-focused media and design site devoted to the visual identity of the sport. Its central interests are hockey jerseys and logos, with content organized around articles, creative concepts, and opportunities for visitors to vote. The site also offers reference tools and features, including a logo map, a timeline, the NHL Almanac, and IceHL, alongside information about affiliations. Together, these resources give fans ways to explore hockey branding, uniform design, and related history. Icethetics describes its subject as “the aesthetics of hockey,” reflecting its emphasis on how teams and leagues present themselves visually rather than on hockey coverage alone. The site was established under the Icethetics name and, on July 7, 2019, moved to a new address, icethetics.com, marking what its creator called a new era. The original icethetics.co site was to remain online while content was transferred. Icethetics is therefore best understood as a specialist online destination for hockey logos, uniforms, design concepts, and visual reference material.
