## Description

The Intangible Cultural Heritage of Israel Center (ICH-ISRAEL) is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and promoting Israel's intangible cultural heritage. Founded by Israeli volunteers, ICH-ISRAEL aims to raise awareness about the significance of preserving Israel's diverse cultural traditions. Through research, identification, and classification, the organization works to safeguard elements of Israel's intangible cultural heritage and supports various projects, festivals, and artists involved in Israeli folk traditions, crafts, and choreography. ICH-ISRAEL also offers graduate courses and workshops to transmit skills, knowledge, and artistry associated with Israel's intangible cultural heritage. With a focus on cultural diversity and creative expression, ICH-ISRAEL operates independently and without any political context. By highlighting Israel's own cultural heritage, the organization strives for mutual recognition and protection of the rights of cultural minorities. Recognizing the threat of globalization and its impact on traditional trades and cultural identity, ICH-ISRAEL is dedicated to preserving and promoting the unique intangible cultural heritage of Israel for future generations to appreciate and cherish.
