## Description

The Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) is an international certifying organization for professional records and information managers. Established in 1975, ICRM ensures that individuals involved in records and information management meet a standardized criteria of experience and capability. Their primary mission is to certify professionals as Certified Records Managers (CRM) and Certified Records Analysts (CRA), offering specialty designations and administering a certification maintenance program to keep members up-to-date in this dynamic field. In addition, ICRM serves as the certifying body for records and information management professionals, as well as the Nuclear Information and Records Management Association (NIRMA). They also provide opportunities for organizations to administer specialized exams and obtain special designations in records management. The value of becoming a Certified Records Manager is evident, with surveys showing a strong correlation between the CRM designation and enhanced professionalism, personal growth, and better job opportunities in the field. Partner with ICRM to elevate your career in records and information management.
