## Description

The Implant Dentistry–Study Consortium (IDSC) is a dental education organization founded in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2000. Established to address the need for intensive local training in implant dentistry, IDSC aims to strengthen clinical standards in the UAE and surrounding countries and prepare dentists to contribute to oral healthcare and dental education. Its programs combine theoretical instruction, workshops, hands-on learning, and supervised treatment of live patients. The comprehensive implant course is structured into five modules, supported by weekly sessions, and covers implant foundations, diagnosis and treatment planning, surgical techniques, bone augmentation, soft tissue management, prosthetic restoration, full-mouth rehabilitation, complications, and maintenance. Training includes approaches such as All-on-4 and All-on-6 restorations, overdentures, and surgical guide workflows. IDSC offers on-campus and online learning options and describes its course as accredited by the Dubai Health Authority and affiliated with the University of Toronto. With more than 600 graduates and over 10 instructors, the consortium provides dentists with structured education, clinical supervision, and mentorship in implant dentistry.
