In the late 1990s, IDEA started by publishing interactive CDs focused on art conservation. In the 2000s, we shifted towards creating Web-based interactive museum exhibits and concept maps to explore information. Today, our primary focus is on developing free and affordable mobile apps that promote vocabulary expansion for learners of all ages.

Our mobile apps for literacy are designed to increase functional vocabularies. OtherWordly is an arcade game that challenges players to overcome obstacles and match related words with the help of trusty sidekicks. In Other Words is an unabridged reference app that encourages users to explore over 500,000 terms and usage examples from published written works.
