## Description

Idea Hat is a London-based production and development company that brings ideas to life on-screen and in the real world. It has a particular specialism in hospital and healthcare settings, creating projects that explore medical environments, healthcare services and the people connected to them. Its work spans audio and animation, including documentary, drama and comedy. The four-part documentary podcast Nye Bevan’s Fight to Create the NHS is narrated by Sian Harries and focuses on the creation of the National Health Service. Idea Hat also produced Getting Better: The Fight for the NHS for Audible, an audio drama starring Rhod Gilbert as Nye Bevan. Its animated comedy Do Not Resuscitate looks at the inner workings of hospital life and was named winner of the World Animation category at AniMate 2024. Through its production and development work, Idea Hat combines storytelling with a clear interest in healthcare and brings projects to audiences across different formats.
