## Description

The Indonesian Medical Association (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia, or IDI) is the professional organization representing doctors across Indonesia. Affiliated with the Ministry of Health, it works to strengthen medical ethics, professional independence, collegiality, and the contribution of doctors to a healthy, dignified society. IDI’s network includes 33 regional organizations and 242 branches, serving a reported membership of 32,220 doctors.

The organization supports its members and the wider medical community through professional education, scientific activities, competency-related information, and publications.
