## Description

The Idiopathic Ridiculopathy Consortium (IRC) is a theatre company dedicated to bringing “good nothingness” to life through bold, imaginative productions. Its work spans classic and contemporary plays, often exploring the absurd, comic, tragic, and unsettling sides of human experience. The company has staged works by Samuel Beckett, Tennessee Williams, Tina Howe, Christopher Durang, and William Inge, including Endgame, The Two-Character Play (Outcry), Painting Churches, Betty’s Summer Vacation, and Come Back, Little Sheba. IRC’s productions are recognized for strong performances, thoughtful direction, and accomplished design across sound, scenery, lighting, and costumes. The company presents live shows and offers tickets through its website, where visitors can also learn about its productions and artists. Audiences can support IRC through donations, join its mailing list for updates, and explore its podcast. With a distinctive taste for daring material and theatrical experimentation, IRC invites audiences to encounter familiar works in vivid, surprising ways and to find humor, beauty, and reflection in life’s absurdities.
