IFCA Seattle is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the child welfare system in the United States and Japan. With a vision of a world where all children and youth are loved, supported, and given the opportunity to reach their full potential, IFCA works across borders to create discussion, activities, and connections. IFCA focuses on three areas: Youth & Alumni, Caregivers, and Professionals.

They serve children who grow up in foster care, young people who have aged out of foster care, caregivers such as foster parents and kinship caregivers, and professionals in the field of child welfare. Through their projects and initiatives, IFCA aims to advance the child welfare system by exchanging ideas, collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations, and building connections globally. To further their mission, IFCA offers resources, including links, publications, and newsletters, as well as opportunities to donate and join their mailing list.
