## Description

The International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA), founded in 1951, stands as one of the oldest and largest student-run organizations globally. With a dynamic network of over 1.5 million medical students from 133 National Member Organizations across 123 countries, IFMSA fosters collaboration, advocacy, and leadership development among future health professionals. The organization offers an array of programs, including a robust Student Exchange Program that facilitates over 15,000 exchanges annually, enabling students to immerse themselves in diverse healthcare environments and cultural settings.

In addition to its exchange initiatives, IFMSA is actively involved in policy advocacy, collaborating with various organizations to influence health decisions at both local and global levels. The federation hosts events like General Assemblies and Regional Meetings, which serve as platforms for dialogue on pressing health issues and advocacy strategies. Through partnerships with global entities, IFMSA empowers medical students to address key health challenges and promotes innovative solutions in the field of global health. Join IFMSA to be part of a transformative experience in medical education and healthcare advocacy.
