The International FOP Association (IFOPA) is a nonprofit organization that provides hope and support to individuals with a rare genetic condition called fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP). Their mission is to fund research for finding a cure for FOP while offering education and support programs to individuals and families affected by the condition. Founded in 1988 by Jeannie Peeper, a person living with FOP, the IFOPA aims to bring people with FOP together, providing a sense of community and understanding.

As one of the largest funders of FOP research globally, the IFOPA dedicates two-thirds of its annual budget to research grants, patient registry maintenance, scientific meetings, and clinical studies.
