## Description

The International Forestry Students Association (IFSA) is a globally organized and locally operating students' organization that connects forest and related science students to their peers, forest organizations, and policy platforms. With over 130 member associations across 50 countries, IFSA unites thousands of students in their quest to learn about forests, cultures, and the environment. As a non-political, non-profit, and student-run organization, IFSA aims to foster global cooperation among forestry students and broaden their knowledge and understanding. IFSA facilitates student meetings, promotes participation in scientific debates, and supports the involvement of youth in decision-making processes at regional and global levels. By envisioning a world that appreciates forests, IFSA emphasizes the importance of recognizing the social, environmental, and economic values that forests bring to humanity. Through international events, networking, and intercultural exchange, IFSA enriches the education of its members and empowers them to engage globally.
