## Description

The Institute for Global Decarbonization Progress (iGDP) is a Beijing-based organization that develops and promotes climate solutions to support carbon neutrality. It provides policymakers, impact investors, and practitioners with research, analysis, and practical knowledge products informed by an international perspective. Its work focuses on climate governance, energy transition, green economics, subnational climate action, the power and industrial sectors, just transition, and climate-food initiatives.

iGDP also works with partners through platforms designed to share knowledge and advance implementation. These include ACTION 2035, which supports subnational climate action; GAAP, a platform for climate solutions in the agri-food system; the IE-iGDP Just Transition Observatory, focused on knowledge, policy development, and capacity building; and the Green Development Think Tank Partnership, which supports low-carbon planning and technological development.

The organization offers data and analytical tools for researchers and policymakers, including the China Carbon Neutrality Tracker and LOGIC, an index for assessing low-carbon progress in Chinese provinces and cities.
