## Description

I G Property is a York-based letting agency specialising in student and residential rentals. Founded in 1989 by Ian Furby with a single property, it has grown into one of the city’s largest student and residential letting agents. The agency lets more than 600 properties each year, with nearly 400 fully managed by its team of 15 property professionals.

For students, I G Property offers houses in a range of sizes, including bills-inclusive options, and provides information about the rental and signing processes, tenant fees and available properties. It also supports residential tenants searching for homes in York. Landlords can contact the agency about letting and property management services.

The company offers practical maintenance advice covering topics such as pests, freezers, legionella and internet access. Prospective tenants can search listings by location, number of bedrooms, price and other features, while a mailing list provides updates about new properties. I G Property operates from High Petergate in York and is the trading name of IG Property Services Limited.
